Join us for a talk by Markus Bohlmann – "The Power of Self-Compassion" Wednesday, February 13th Doors open at 7:00 Talk/sitting begins at 7:30 pm 9:00 pm social time While meditation raises awareness and provides insights into the workings of the mind, self-compassion asks how we relate to ourselves in those moments of awareness-building. It is the art of being kind to oneself amidst suffering, of turning towards difficulty with gentleness and understanding rather than with self-criticism and judgment. Please join us for an evening of self-compassion to learn more about, and to practice, the art of being in loving presence with oneself.
